Digital Firm secures significant funding for new start-up business

The Single Use Paper Company, based in Darlington is a start-up business whose goal is to be the leading bulk importer of single use paper products such as paper straws. The online business will serve the UK and Ireland Hospitality Industry and its new online site will allow for the purchase of paper products direct from the importer.

White Digital who have been commissioned to produce a new ecommerce and marketing solution for the business saw the opportunity to use the Tees Valley Business Compass to assist in funding the project.

The Tees Valley Business Compass offers grant support of up to 33% towards eligible project costs, regardless of the size of the proposed investment. The exact level of support available is dependent on the size and location of the applicant business and also the employment outputs that the project will deliver.
