A digital revolution for BQ

BQ is making an ambitious switch to become a digital-first publishing platform, driving economic growth across the UK.

Since 2007 BQ has built a unique audience of MDs, CEOs, and entrepreneurs; the kind of leaders that are driving economic growth in every part of the UK.

Traditionally BQ has reached that audience by blending regular quarterly print titles with an expanding digital portfolio, and a number of high profile events. But more recently, our audience has demanded that more of our content is made available online. And our digital audience is growing exponentially as a result.

As part of that process, we’re pleased to be able to announce that from 1 April we’ll be rolling out a new and improved digital portfolio. We’ll also be refocusing our print portfolio on specific sectors, and dedicated to subjects of economic importance.

That means after our Spring editions we’ll no longer be publishing our quarterly general interest magazine, as we strengthen our focus towards those subjects that really matter to business.

But we’ll be making all of that general interest content available, for free, at, alongside an expanded digest of interactive news, analysis, features and interviews. All shaped around the interests and individual preferences of each and every user.

And we’ll be investing in our local daily digital bulletins along with an expanded social media output to make sure we keep you up to date with what you need to know, when you need to know it.

It’s another landmark in the growth of the BQ brand, but, more importantly, it’s another big boost to the scale, immediacy and relevance of the service we’re able to offer all of our audiences and partners.
